These projects may be prompted by educational technology integration, professional development, technology adoption/maintenance, hybrid (remote/onsite) & e-learning environment development/support and assessment.  The project samples below feature quest-based lessons, website links to academic programs/courses/workshops, and artifacts from courses (lesson plans, think sheets, pair/share, etc.).

Illustrated Media Guide

To support faculty who are integrating technology; particularly for making courses accessible, configuring classroom spaces for speaker presentations and support student mobile device use in pedagogically appropriate ways, the Instructional Design and eLearning team developed this site in 2016 illustrating all classroom and meeting spaces, describing the "built-in" and optional equipment.  In collaboration with the IT department, we coordinated technology "how-to" handouts and videos with updated technology guides for all spaces starting in 2017.

3T Pre-Conference Workshop, March 2017

In addition to redesigning the conference guide, assisting conference organizers with proposal review and designing four presentations with faculty and co-presenting/supporting two presentations, the Instructional Design and eLearning team built a model, 1-day hybrid workshop on Instructional Videos with Articulate Storyline 2.

Higher Education Class-Module

When given the opportunity to compare Blackboard and Moodle learning management system (LMS) tools, I designed the course content for a Dragon Foundation course.  Screen shots of Blackboard are featured below:

Higher Education Project

This project turned into a template for teachers to use when teaching a hybrid course.  It was initially developed with a fellow graduate student and implemented mid-way through the College Teaching course we were taking--she was the campus-based student and I was the distance-based student.  The professor for the course, and fellow students, liked it so well--it has been adopted by many instructors in higher education and K12 since it's debut in 2012.

EFCTS-AWD Academy Project

In addition to designing Professional Development workshops targeting technology integration for the Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools, Adult Workforce Development division, the AWD Academy is an ongoing project with the initial prototype working in September 2014.  It was rolled out fourth quarter, 2014, for teachers.  The next series of quests are planned for April/May 2015.

The AWD Academy is intended to support teachers who would like to make use of technology to support the adult learners enrolled in the full-time programs: Medical Assisting, Medical Office Technology, Dental Assisting, Welding, Facilities Maintenance, HVAC and Basic Peace Officer (Police Academy).
